In the 1980’s, Gympie Glass and Aluminium was known as Brian Heck Glass and Aluminium. During 1997 this family business had a name change and is currently known as Gympie Glass and Aluminium. This business has always been operated as family-owned business servicing but not limited to: Gympie, Curra, Glenwood, Tin Can Bay, Kilkivan, Cooroy, Amamoor and Surrounding Areas.

Today it boasts a strong knowledgeable workforce with 28 years of combined experience. The current owner is Clinten Forbes who is a Gympy-ite, being born and bred in Gympie. Clinten completed his apprenticeship with Cooloola Glass and Aluminium. He has specialised in manufacturing windows and doors for residential and commercial projects.

Experience

After leaving Cooloola Glass, Clinten moved around South East QLD gaining experience.  With this experience he returned to his home town Gympie. On returning to Gympie the opportunity to purchase Gympie Glass and Aluminium arose. He seized the opportunity and is providing a friendly and efficient cost-effective service to the community and surrounding districts.
